Back from Dublin

The five days I have recently spent in Dublin with VMM were just great, preparing me in so many ways for going overseas. To clarify, VMM is a charity which promotes international development and volunteering and is the organisation sponsoring my placement with N4BW for the next 12 months. The training encouraged myself and other volunteers to think about cultural differences, traditions and attitudes as well as some very practical issues around keeping healthy and safe.

My departure date is not yet finalised but I am hoping for confirmation later this week. Watch this space.
